Care Act 2014
The full text of the Care Act 2014, a core piece of legislation for social workers which aims to:
“Reform the law relating to care and support for adults and the law relating to support for carers; to make provision about safeguarding adults from abuse or neglect; to make provision about care standards; to establish and make provision about Health Education England; to establish and make provision about the Health Research Authority; to make provision about integrating care and support with health services; and for connected purposes.”

Forensic Mental Health Social Work: Capabilities Framework
This Capabilities Framework is designed to build on those generic requirements, which should be demonstrates by all social workers, rather than duplicate them. They set out a framework for post-qualifying progression and development for social workers within forensic mental health settings.

Capabilities Statements for Social workers who work with Older People
These are the Capabilities that set out the knowledge, skills and values that social workers needs to work well with older people. These capabilities do not duplicate the registration standards, the capabilities in the PCF or the Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS), instead they provide more specific and detailed capabilities that enhance social work with older people.
